The BrineryNH
In 2014 TheBrineryNH was formed to present to the Lakes Region information about lacto-fermentation of vegetables and fruits (both the methods and their benefits}. At the time, Jeff Thayer, current facilitator of Team Connected had a booth at the Laconia Farmers Market on Saturdays where local folks learned and sampled fermented cabbage blends. A New Hampshire Magazine reporter {Susan Laughlin) wrote a story about TheBrineryNH and what was presented at the market entitled “JT Thayer is wild about fermenting veggies.”
Fermentation Training
Among other training tools, Jeff Thayer enrolled in the University of Colorado (Boulder) 3 month program “Gut Check: Exploring Your MicroBiome”. Some of that training is presented in the WOEKSHOPS, along with simple and easy to do methods of lacto-fermentations.
